The 30 year old Pakistani cyclist Abdur Rehman Palwa cycling across Pakistan tuned his travelling desire into a mission as he fixed his eyes on making it to the Guinness Book of World Records.
Palwa already broke the previous Guinness World Record of 15,222 kilometers cycling in a single country claimed by India’s Santosh Holi by cycling 21,000 kilometers in 175 days and he will submit his record after completing his journey at the end of this month. At the moment the record is unofficial as Palwa has to submit the evidences to set a world record including his cycling activity trekking app and GPS points.
Cycling around Pakistan over the last few months, Palwa has really enjoyed the warm hospitality of hundreds of newfound fans, followers and friends on social media. Through social, Palwa regularly updates cycling progress including the photpgraphs alongside city signboards which fascinated the people.
